Only 30 Days Remain to Apply for Up to $50,000 Per Site
Connecticut has made $5 million available for nonprofit security improvements, with awards of up to $50,000 per owned facility. Applications are due September 4, 2026, and the program may provide up to 50% of an award as a cash advance, capped at $25,000.
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility Criteria
- 501(c)(3) status required.
- Must own the applying building at time of application and throughout project completion.
- Must demonstrate heightened risk of terrorist attack, hate crime, or violent act.
- Public schools are not eligible.
- Requirements: Complete organization data, threat narrative, scope of work, budget, and online security self-assessment via Connecticut EM Grants.
